I would hate to see Horn wear a Saints uniform again. The main reason is if he did, that would mean the Saints got nailed by injuries. On a serious note, he would probably be an excellent addition to the coaching staff. I know Joe went to Atlanta and that pretty bad, but I do hate to see him go down this way. Another example of an athlete hanging around a little too long.

Yes, he still has his house here. Joe has been in NOLA many, many times since his ATL signing. He still considers this his home.

as a true saints fan some of my fondest memories of the saints are from joe...i hafta say that my most favorite was the first home game of the '06 season....the biggest game in the history of the franchise....horn jumps up for a pass and gets completely decleated....the dude got hit like mad....and landed on the ground back first...knocked the wind out of him...he layed on the ground for a second..it was obvious he was injured....but he stood up...shook his head and jogged back to the huddle...if that doesnt show true heart....then i dont know what does....that will always be my favorite memory even tho horn was replaced and is now the enemy

Re: Joe Horn

Horn is done, completely IMO...
He did his thing for a few years in N.O but that's all behind him now, I can see a team signing him but he won't be a starter, he just doesn't have it anymore, and forget about him making 2.5 mil. a year, no team in their right mind will give him the big pay checks.

Re: Joe Horn

I think he burned his bridges with Payton. Even though he couldn't play, he was mouthing off after the championship game about not getting a game-day roster spot. Then he can go anywhere, or even stay but he goes to Atl?

Re: Joe Horn

Before Joe left I was on the bandwagon for Him to go and blow his Horn somewhere else. He is a nice enough guy and a good football player that did show toughness, although I never considered Him the NO 1. reciever even in His Prime. With his mouth I was glad to see Him go. That being said overall I feel He did contribute especially early on and always spoke highly of us fans and seemed to love our city. For that He gets an "A" from me but no way would I want Him back even as a coach he would find a way to let His mouth overload His "A".
