this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'd be willing to bet he's not hiding his cellphone under a goalpost pad right about now. He's probably sitting with it on a table in front of him, watching it in ever-increasing worry as it continues it's silence....

I can almost agree with Dub Saint and if he wants to return to New Orleans, it can be in some other capacity than on the playing field. He's getting his payola so he can just suck it up this season and earn it with the Falcons and decide afterward what he wants to do.
He had the chance to further the Saints' cause last year but he thought the road to Super Bowl Heaven was paved red, black and green. But the Messiah got the nix by Roger Pilate even before the journey beagn. I say if he wants to play and still has one or two halfway competent years left, he leaves his agents at home and gets down to contributing to the team. But otherwise, I can definitely see him teaching the younger squads the tricks od the trade. |
