Crow... the other other white meat

I've been critical of the Shockey trade. I'm not ready to evaluate it for "value", but the guy is a great addition to the team. I was at least somewhat wrong about that.

I was VERY critical getting rid of Mike Karney in favor of Heath Evans. I was completely wrong about this as well. The guy comes to play and can do things I've always wanted to see out of our FB. GREAT addition!!

I was critical of the cutting of Kevin Houser in favor of our new long snapper. I was wrong. Kyle has some serious velocity and accuracy in his snaps. It's making a difference.

I was amazed and dismayed by the moves to acquire Moorestead. Man, I was wrong wrong wrong about that as well. The guy has completely changed the complexion of our ST play.

I predicted a 9-7 finish to this season. I THINK (and hope) that I am wrong!

As an aside, good thing I am not in charge of the front office for our Saints and I resolve to quit being snarky about Payton's play calling. The team is playing well in all phases and I look forward to our next big challenge.

It's takes a big man to admit his mistakes.

Good Job, Frenzy

Crow is best when slow cooked so it doesn't dry out as much.

Kudos to you Frenzy.

Anyone else? Might as well get it all out in one thread.

I'll have some crow, but just a wing for the amount of hate that I've piled on the Starcap twins. Still, one decent game in like 3 years doesn't exactly get them out of the dog house.

I'll take a drumbstick for panning the Morestead pick. He's been huge on KOs and Ps.

I knew you were all wrong... Big dummy.... LOL
I was behind the coach and front office the whole way.
Go back and look at the record.

Sorry for the second post, but this bears a side note. I told my wife about all the crazy cat pics that you post (and here's a perfect example, a cat with a crow feather - hilarious!) She wanted to see some and I did a search on your post history with her watching. Must have checked 25 posts and threads and couldn't find a SINGLE CAT PIC!! Figures, eh? I was embarrassed. Told her I must have been temporarily insane.

No you weren't so far.

Punting Average - 10th
Net Average - 16th
Inside 20 - 29th
Fair Catches - 25th
KO average - 16th

No way he's earned those 2 picks yet.

Those 2 stats are a little misleading. Aside from the teams that play tonight, he's punted less than all but 3 teams.
