this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; cutting carney could've gave us more options at LB, DT, S, and OL it is worthless for him to be on this team right now......we kept him for his accuracy but now he isnt even accurate......every time he even kicks ...

it is worthless for him to be on this team right now......we kept him for his accuracy but now he isnt even accurate......every time he even kicks an extra point it makes me nervous and thats not even mentioning the field goals that he has missed this season hartley has never missed a field goal for us and there is no reason to expect him to |

i say start hartley the next couple of games and see where he's at. they should be winnable games regardless.

Yep time to say bye bye to carney and give the kid a shot...he showed me more kicking last year than carney has this year and keep in mind hartley hasnt' missed a regular season FG so I think what he done last year at least earns him a chance
