To our newer Brethren browsing this thread:

Obviously there are a lot of "old timers" who are throwin' their tenure around for kicks... Obviously, if you are 20 years old, you probably don't know who Carl Smith was , or knew that Bum Phillips once coached the Saints, heck, you don't have an idea who Bum Phillips is... the reality is, you know when you are a "real fan", and we know when you aren't

My intent was not to name drop. I actually hunted with him. My father was a Saints fan also. Probably the biggest Kenny Stabler fan that ever lived. Never knew why he liked "The Snake".

That's Adrian McPherson in the picture though.

But if someone threw up the backward pass Deuce has to leap on to save it it would work as well.

My Saints tattoo from 23 years ago is still holding up reasonably. I'll let you know in 40 more years though.

Every day of my life has something Saints related in it. Some days it is a large percentage of my thoughts. They truly are part of my family and always will be.

This.....

God I am still laughing at this statement because it is sadly so true.

That was me. One of our hotshots yesterday, a Cowboy fan, stopped me as I was leaving the studio, and he said, "I gotta give it to you--- you Believed...." I knew where he was going.

My Neighbors look at me funny now. They just would not understand.

Fan is short for Fanatic. And Fanatic we are.

Thanks for your service ....

Same thing happened to me that weekend. What grind my gears was that FOX put the Cowboys game on when the Saints were headed for overtime. I had to run out to the car to listen to the rest. When it was over, I was yelling who dat at the top of my lungs. If the neighbors didn't know I was crazy before that, well now they know.
