I'm having a hard time arguing with his statement that he never really believed in the Saints. How can I? There have been quite a few games this year where we only played good ball for half the game, or we got really lucky when it mattered most. While it was happening a lot of people said, "that's what good teams do" and I would agree with that. If you don't follow the Saints as much as we do, you might not feel the same way.

I would also offer that good teams don't fold down the stretch and that's exactly what our Saints have done for the last month. When it mattered and we needed the win, we couldn't pull it out. That's enough to cast doubt on our team for anyone who's not blinded by homerism.
