I would just like to point out, once again....Our defense is not ranked up there with your other "elite" defenses due to one reason. We had too many key injuries early on....corners out...etc. Otherwise, we'd be ranked much higher. So our defensive 'standing' is a little misleading, because we are healthy once again. But......that's ok if you want to overlook us. We got no problem with that!

Yes. I do. If I remember correctly, the Jets were on what, on a 5 or 6 game win streak, when we destroyed them.
Our defense was in the top ten against the run, and against the pass, before Greer, and Porter went down. You can check that out. They are the most underrated corners in the league by far. |

You guys are acting as if having the tremendous homefield advantage at the Superdome meant nothing in your ability to apply pressure on Kurt Warner or Brett Favre. I think it had alot to do with it. It's because of that, and the fact that the Colts give up the fewest sacks in the league, that I believe you trying to pressure Manning is pointless. In fact, I welcome it because it's less guys in coverage. |

I wonder how much of this is smoke and mirrors- try to rattle PM B4 even hitting the field. I wonder if we will show a lot of blitz then drop back in coverage or vary it up. Probably the latter, but interesting to guess at

You are better than the Jets but they have the better defense and it doesn't matter if you guys are missing anyone or at full strength. |

Re: Gregg Williams suggests the Saints want to injure Manning
Like I said, you beat the Jets but they kept YOUR offense, the best in the league, without a touchdown until late in the fourth quarter. Their defense is better than yours and it's not really even a debate for anyone that's being honest with themselves.

As far as road games....the Saints have always been a pretty good road team. I know Sean has said that he likes away games sometimes because he has an easier time eliminating distractions. So....we'll see!
