He laces his shoes up, the exact same way, that a DB on special teams does, and you don't see anybody crying when that guy gets knocked out of a game. I love Drew Brees, I do, but I understand that he knew what he was getting into, when he played Pop Warner. He had MAJOR shoulder surgery, and wasn't even projected to play again, but he came back, and I haven't heard one cry baby word out of him about it. You know why? Because he's a man, and he knows that it comes with the territory.

I don't agree with SAYING in the media, that you are going to try and take someone out. That just creates controversy, and hippies coming out of the woodworks, trying to ban the sport.

If you want a sport, where everyone dances around, and loves each other, try figure skating, or gymnastics. This is a man's game, be a man, or sit in the stands.
Completely agree. Also agree Williams needs to watch how he says things. No need for bulletin board material. Though the media is given the SAINTS D so much bulletin board stuff it's not going to matter. Win or lose we will play hard and hit hard until the end.

I got your back 100% to compare Manning or Brees to Nameth, Marino, Elway, Unitas, Montana, Starbach, hell just look at Bradshaws mug, he is proof they got hit hard .... Your comparing apples to oranges.

Those quarterback played a different game under a different set of rules. Receivers could get hit as long as the ball was not in the air, QB's got hit period.... QB's were head hunted...

How dare you say gymnastics isn't a man's sport. It is just as dangerous as Football. I did a back somersault when Hartley made the field goal and my head went through my tv!

It would appear the Nation is divided.

There is the Who Dat Nation and those who whine about football being too rough. I'm not really referring to anyone in this thread, to be clear.

Unbelievable. I'd call them pansy douchebags but I am trying to make an effort to tone down stuff.

Manning can't be accurate with his pants on the ground.

Lest ye forget we pummeled Favre bean 16 times? Fairly constant body blows are actully worse than a sack now and then if'n ya think about it.

That's right, psycho. We ONLY lost the one road game and it was a practice game for those that never get to play and an opportunity to try different plays to see how they might work. Even at that game, and I was there, our bench played well and the Saints were only beaten by 13 pts. I'm betting that the Saints will have the advantage at the "Away" game. Saints fan til I die!

I would like for Payton to show the team the total a$$-wiping that Peyton gave the Saints, I think it was on Monday night a few years back...they put up over half-a-hundred on us...if I remember it right. It wasn't pretty. Could be pretty inspirtational...or demoralizing. Nevermind.

It's irrelevant honestly. Not the same offense - we've added Shockey, PT, D. Thomas, Meach, and Henderson is a completely different receiver.

And our D is a completely different squad all together.
