Colts Receivers better than Ours?
Saints may seem like team of destiny, but Colts have edge
"Manning deservedly gets the lion's share of credit for the Colts' offensive success, but he has a remarkably deep group of pass-catchers. This team sees no drop-off after Reggie Wayne and TE Dallas Clark, because youngsters Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie are big-time playmakers. As strong as the Saints' secondary might be, this is a tough group to cover." Edge: Colts Now, this is where I draw the line. Wayne, Clark, Addai, Garcon, and Collie do NOT have the edge over Colston, Meachem, Henderson, Moore, Shockey, D. Thomas, Pierre T., and Reggie. I don't think Mickey would trade those guys for our guys and I'm sure Polian would. Silly stuff. |

Re: Colts Receivers better than Ours?
I guess the talkers have to talk about something. After all, it's a guess! I, for one, would much rather have all of our players, because they are the ones who make the New Orleans Saints WHO THEY ARE!

I'd take our receiving corp over theirs any day. They have a good bunch, but our guys fit well with our team. Just like their guys are a good fit with their team.

As a group. I would take our receivers. Standalone, I think Reggie Wayne is the best of them all with Colston close behind.

Funny how when they were trying to justify Manning getting the MVP, they kept talking about how he did more with less in his receiver corps. Now apparently they are all-world probowlers.

Re: Colts Receivers better than Ours?
The real difference that separates them is we have a receivers coach by the name of Curtis Johnson, who in my opinion is the main reason our receivers look so good. I sure hope we have him tied up in a nice contract.

If it makes you feel better, Indy, go on believin' that! Cause some talking head spit it out doesn't make it so. If it's all the same to you....will keep our lineup and take our chances.
