I could see this actually. When I was reading how the Lions would plan on using him, it made me think "Why can't we do this with him?". Have him on the end on 1st and 2nd down and move him to the middle on 3rd down with McCray coming in at end. |

Keeping hargrove brings the sound of Peytons voice to my ears.
Do you like it... No I Love it!!! Let Hargrove replace Grant Take MT Cody with 32 for inside run stuffing ability on 1st and 2nd down and to keep Vilma clean and active on pass rushing downs. |

Any of you ever been to Detroit? The word armpit comes to mind.
This is a freakin no brainer, it would seem. Keep the dude. He is good. Anyone who says he didn't live up to his potential is a knucklehead. Take up basket weaving. |

he will stay. There is no 2nd or 3rd pick that will be equal to him over the next 2 years

Re: Lions speak on possible use of Hargrove...
Sorry guy, there is noway these 3 will preform like Hargrove would this coming year. Hargrove is a beast who has finally got his life in order and is focusing on football. If he has the chance he will be probowl bound next year. |

all 3 of those guys are going to start next season for whichever team drafts them hargrove is good for us....but he is a backup and has a very little chance of making the pro bowl in the same conference as guys like pat and kevin williams, albert haynesworth, ryan pickett, etc etc etc hargrove doesnt stand a chance....he isnt even the best DT on our team let alone a pro bowler at DT now the other 3 guys might not make the pro bowl.....but they will be available in the early 2nd round probably and they will all start day 1 and they will all contribute heavily |

Re: Lions speak on possible use of Hargrove...
I will halfway agree with you here, but only because Hargrove is a natural DE. He was used at DT, because the position was decimated with injuries with Clancy gone for the year and Ellis missing several games. Not many players can be expected to be a Pro Bowl player switching DE to DT. Plus, he is undersized for the position. He's listed at 272 lbs. That's very small for a DT. The guy played with a great motor regardless of what he lacked size-wise. Put him out on the edge like he should be, and this guy could be very, very good.

Re: Lions speak on possible use of Hargrove...
Need to keep this guy in a bad way. The Saints d-line is already in enough trouble, no need to create an additional hole in it.
