Anyway, I go to work to get away from my family.

When Im working, Im ON. Im on target, Im cold stone focused, and the last thing on my mind is my family. They'll be there when I get home. I have a job to do, and people to kill.

Strato, so funny.

I saw the 60 Mins. piece on Drew and Brittany too.
She said she would not let him know if labor was on and it was game day .
Yes,they are human. This is a critical time for him and a special time.
I get that.
I give him more credit that some of you wondering if his child's birth had something to with yesterday's lost.
Brees is a proball player. Yeah,he can compartmentalize his child's birth and his job.
The game and prepping for it and he and his wife prepping for their baby.

Heres hope to her for a good labor and their healthy fat, little cute, baby boy.

And SkyMike, you go to work for your family.
For yourself. Family and work sort of go together and yet don't.
The saying...Dont' take work to home and don't take family to work is true.
Brees, like all of us, can focus on work at work and family at family time.

Also, Brittany Brees seems a really together girl.
As it has been said that wives/girlfriends with partners in that profession really have to be confident ,strong in personality, etc. to make major decisons and things. Same goes for anyone who has a husband or for you guys, a wife, who does not have a 9-5 kind of career.
Brittany Brees is having no complications or anything ,thank God.
We can be sure she has a great crew of family/friends with her .Give Mrs. Drew (Brittany) Brees tons of credit.

I just want to point out, that Troy Polamalu's second child, was born on September 16th. Anybody remember the game he played week one, against Atlanta? Defense played lights out, and he was one of the key players to shut down Atlanta's passing offense. That was on the 12th. Week 2, which was about four days after the birth, he did the same thing. I believe that was the game where he dived over the oline, to tackle someone on the goal line. I guess it doesn't effect every father the same way.......
