NFL Players Say "NO" to 18 Game Season
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'm with the players, as most of us are on this one. I think a win win would be to have 1 extra paying event, like a quasi bye where people pay to come to the stadium for a meet ...

I'm with the players, as most of us are on this one. I think a win win would be to have 1 extra paying event, like a quasi bye where people pay to come to the stadium for a meet and greet of the players and staff around the the 4th or 5th game into the season with events for the kids. A portion could be donated to charity. If done right it could generate more than the revenue from a game and the positive publicity would be off the chart.
