I agree, but I just thought that 'cos the early reports were positive on Hamilton's condition and practicing - and that he was just a roster casualty in the first place - that he would make the team better instead of bringing in somebody, who has no familiarity with the Saints' system.

He may be waiting for a team that loses a RB for the season, instead of being a temporary fill-in for a team needing a camp body RB. |

Yeah, I think the issues with Lynell were deeper than what we have been told. If he was in shape and ready to compete for a job, he would have been signed by someone by now.

At least I haven't caught any news of him joining some other team, so he should be available... but as Danno stated he might not want to be just a temporary fill-in for pre-season... still if no one is interested in his services, maybe he should take it as a chance to show other teams what he can do in the pre-season games where he'd get national exposure and quiet any talks there might exist about this health. Just a thought... |

it sounded more like they did'nt like how he came into camp. Hamiltons body was not what they wanted to see. a lot has to do with that dammed lockout. he probably did'nt rehab the way he was suposed to. and it cost him a shot. did;nt we think he would have gotten pick-up quickly? somethings not right. patrick cobb? come on.

But seriously, I guess there has to be something more to it, I just based what I stated on the things JD of TP reported from camp practices early on. |

All I see here is that the Saint's needed cannon Fodder for the preseason.. Why get one of our stars hurt.. Let this guy take the heat and I'm sure it didn't cost the team a lot to bring him in.. Will he be here when the season starts probably not..
