Jake lights up the Saints boards

I\'d love to have the Panther\'s offenisve and defensive lines. They can keep Jake and let\'s give the Panthers our offensive and defensive lines. I would take Jake, but I wouldn\'t want to take the one thing that makes them so successful. |

Jake lights up the Saints boards
Let me rephrase the original question.
Why, in your opinion, did Jake go undrafted, fail to start in NFL Europe, and get passed over by one of the (generally considered) great talent evaluators (Bill Parcells) in the game today? (a) the great Jake Delhomme conspiracy theory (b) Jake doesn\'t practice well (c) Cajun Accent (d) other **if you answer \"D\", please explain** Now, before people (you know who you are) jump in here and try and get me banned for debating this topic, let me say the following: 1. I didn\'t start it 2. It\'s a legitimate quesiton directed at the artist of the \"Great Jake Delhomme Conspiracy Theory\" :P |

Billy why do you refuse to give credit where credit is due. Delhomme has put the same sort of numbers Brooks did in his first year as starter and more importantly has time and time again put his team in a position to win when they needed to. Delhomme as a starter is now 2-0 in the post season; however, you continue to provide excuses for his success. First it was Stephen Davis, but when you add that we have Duece that argument doesn\'t float. Now it is the oline. How about you just confess that Delhomme has had a good season and stop trying to combat that? He hasn\'t been great but I think that his first year as a starter was a pretty good one.

I gave credit where credit was due. I posted EXACTLY what I feel the truth is. Nothing more, nothing less. Carolina would be just as successful with Trent Dilfer at QB? Do you argree with that? |

Why does Warner have to walk on and try out , before leading one of the most prolific offenses in N.F.L. history . Why is Brett Favre a misfit til he lands in Green Bay . The cases and the names go on and on . The answer is simple , we learn it before we ever walk into a classroom . Square pegs do not go in round holes ...... Delhomme never fit the Dallas system , that would have been a terrible career mistake for Jake . What is the biggest difference on offense between the 2000 season and the 2003 season Saintsfan ??? |

As per your usual 08 you still haven\'t answered the question....and it\'s not really a hard one. Try to answer it...really...just try. No harm in giving it a shot. I even made it multiple choice in an attempt to keep you from doin\' what you just did. It was really an honest attempt to get you to actually come on out and answer the very simple question.
My guess is you don\'t/can\'t answer it straight up because the very simple and quite obvious answer flies directly in the face of your conspiracy theory...unless, of course you think the Conspiracy wasn\'t limited to Haz and in fact the entire NFL (to include NFLE) was in on the conspiracy. Still waitin\' on that answer... [Edited on 12/1/2004 by saintfan] |

Jake went undrafted because...square pegs do not go in round holes... Jake failed to start in NFL Europe because...square pegs do not go in round holes... Bill Parcells (we all agree I think is a solid evaluator of talent) overlooked Jake because...square pegs do not go in round holes... Yeah, 08, ok. (rolling my eyes in complete disbelief) [Edited on 12/1/2004 by saintfan] [Edited on 12/1/2004 by saintfan] |
