New Orleans Saints Coach Sean Payton said Monday that running back Chris Ivory, currently languishing on the physically unable to perform list, could have played yesterday against Jacksonville. The team will have to wait two more games, however, before activating him.
At that time, the Saints will face a delicious quandary - one Payton did not address in his day-after a game press conference in Metairie. The Saints have enjoyed a balanced and productive rushing attack this year with Pierre Thomas, Mark Ingarm and Darren Sproles all healthy and playing very well.
