when reggie was here, he got loads of attention so he was useless...others benefited from that...sproles is now getting that attention so why not have him flair out to 1 side and pt out to the other...pick your poison

Yes, yes we are. If Ingram is in it is almost guaranteed a run. They expect the screen from 23, or a run. They expect short passes and outside runs from Sproles.

I think we need less Ingram and more combos of 23 and Sproles in at the same time. Confuse them, we could do anything from there. For that matter, confuse them even more. Sproles is fast as hell, lets have 23 and Sproles in at the same time, and occasionally have Sproles run a deep route.

you should be upset with the 8 carries......not the production

running backs cant get anything going with 2 carries per quarter of football NOT INCLUDING OVERTIME

how can you even pretend to be down on a guy that touches the ball 10 times a game and still continues to pound out tough yards when we need it the most?

Because ball carries are one at a time. Each time an opportunity to gain more than ONE-POINT-SOMETHING yards each time!

Double his carries and double his yards and yesterday he was still next-to-useless.

Come on, Canton. I want to believe he will take off any week now, but it's been 10 weeks and he has yet to break free with only a couple exceptions. Right now I'm more confident with Jed Collins and it should not be that way.

Agreed. However, Sproles has proven himself capable of getting downfield. Ingram has yet to do that.

your problem here is that you are trying to say more carries only means the same weak production but thats not the case and any team will tell you that

you know why sproles finds success? because he runs against nickel and dime packages. you know where ingram finds success? on short yardage runs against a stacked box and a beefed up front 7

i understand your disappointed about not having a pick in the first round of next years draft but blaming ingram for anything is completely unjustified

how many running backs have over 50 yards rushing on less than 10 carries this season? not many....especially short yardage guys
