There weren't any open holes to run through. None of our RB had great games.

What is funny is how we hear all weak about our running game and how we need to establish the run. How many passes did wee throw before we ran once?

Lets face it folks, running the ball is not on this coaching staffs mind first. We use the screen game like a run game, which btw didn't work for crap today. They were ready for it every time.

I would have run Thomas a lot more, he ran o.k. for the amount of carries he got.

I don't think ouir gameplan was to run today. Falcon's secondary is totally suspect. Their D-line is good.

We don't run the ball because we cannot run the ball. We have had success on occasion, but I just don't think our line has the ability to run block with any consistency. When they have had success, all of our backs prospered, but mostly they don't have success. Ingram has run well in games when our other backs have run well. Its not like all of our backs are having great success except Ingram, non of them are able to run with any consistency behind that line. Plus Ingram being a rookie and having zero offseason may have something to do with his lack of success. Remember when coach used to repeatedly call run plays and try to force Reggie to run when he clearly couldn't, at least he is not doing that. I think he knows his line has its limitations and plays to their strength which is pass protection.

You cannot run the ball when the defense is playing in the backfield. Period.
