Lions Coach Schwartz blames officials

whistle blew before they recovered. Entire Saints team stopped at the whistle. It may have been a recovery, but not necessarily a td. I don't think you can blame the officials for that. It looked like an incomplete to everyone but the back judge.

They blew the call.

The whistle blew before Detroit recovered. It should have been Saints ball wherever the ball was when the whistle blew.

Thought there were some tough calls, thought the refs, for the most part, did well

When you allow the opposition to hang a 40 burger on you - or for that matter what could easily have been a 50 burger - you don't blame the refs in your post game presser if you want to be taken seriously.

In general there were very few holding calls. There were times when both teams were clearly guilty of holding. It all balances out. Jim Schwartz is a fool.
