Look at 2:51 in the clip. The whistle had already blown. Robert Meachem is standing 5 yards to the right. No way this would be a td return if the whistle hadn't blown.

Not a rumor. Reality is not a rumor unless you're running for public office.
I went back and listened to the presser after the game, the only time he mentions the officials his about the fumble, his quote was
"Usually they let a play like that play out, this time they decided to blow the whistle"
The other time he mentioned the refs was when he said
"They let them play (Lions AND Saints) they made it clear they're not going to have any "Holding Calls" ...."
But that went for both teams, we weren't called for holding either..
I don't hear him saying
"THE REFS COST US THE GAME"
I think this is a matter of your hearing what you want to hear, and I
hearing what I want to hear, because we cheer for opposite teams...
One fumble even had it been a touchdown probably wouldn't make a lick of difference to the final outcome, your team came out on fire in the second half, that was what cost the Lions that game !!!!!

Now go kick the 9ers ass in to the San Fran bay !!!!!!
Then smack Harbaugh right in mouth !!!

Not sure it would have made a difference. But they blew the whistle too early.
