I'm kind of on the fence about Flynn, because his price will be inflated and with such a small sample to base the evaluation on - he might end up like Matt Cassel, who looked really good with the Pats, but has been crap ever since. If I had to choose one QB from all the FAs, it would probably be Horton at the moment, because he has the experience and a rather good throwing arm - I'm sure SP could elevate him to the next level. |

Im pretty new to all this being from the uk.
This is my first offseason as a fan of a team so bear with me. Is there a chance that we have tagged Drew to trade him if it looked unlikely he wanted to stay or that the management decided the contract was just too big and didnt want to end up in a similar position to that of the Colts? |

A non-exclusive franchise player can receive offers from other teams, but their franchise team has the upper hand in that it has the right to match all offers the tagged player receives and retain their services. If the franchise team doesn't match the offer from another team - the franchise team will be compensated with two 1st round draft picks by the other team. |
