I think he was saying that it wouldn\'t have made sense for the Broncos to keep Oneal AND Bailey when they have pressing issues elsewhere. That\'s too much money for corners, given their needs. At least, that\'s how I took the post.

I think Danno was saying the Broncos won\'t draft a CB (who would then become the second high dollar CB).

Thank you, No_cloning & Whodat

My honest mistake for misinterpeting. I still think is a chance Hall & Robinson will be taken before 18th. In the case of this happenning i hoping loomis draft Vilma or trade down low enough to draft Ahmad Carroll

[quoteI assume they could drafted Starks with the 24th pick, chances now he will slip into the 2nd rd. [/quote:5bd15464f6]

Don\'t count on it. DTs aren\'t easy to come by, and he is compared to Chris Jenkins. He\'ll go in the first round.

In my opinoin he is not in comparison of Chris Jenkin more like Corey Simon. The only comparison to Chris Jenkin is in size.

What difference does it make who you compare him too?

In fact, right now, I\'m going to compare him to my couch.

Starks has a better first step and is a more penetrating player. Starks definitely wraps up better than my couch. On the other hand, my couch plays with a lower center of gravity and is very hard to move from the point of attack. My couch may be best suited to play NT at the next level. Starks definitely has more upside.

So there. Now Starks has been compared to Kris Jenkins, Corey Simon, and my couch.

Now if I could quit being a smart alec for a second, I guess I\'d have to say that you very well could be right about Starks being gone before pick 24. Big guys seem to usually get picked higher than you\'d think on draft day.

Maybe it doesn\'t really mean anything to compare players of past and present, but it is still something the \"experts\" do. My point was just that Kris (thanks for the spelling correction) Jenkins won\'t slip past the first round.

Why don\'t you email Mel Kyper or Mike D and tell him your clever naugahyde couch story.

If I emailed Kiper and told him about my couch, Kiper would have my couch as a first day prospect.

Mel\'s comments on Naugahyde Couch

\"Couch has a solid frame and a wide body that can really stuff the middle of the line. He can play in a 3-cushion or 4-cushion front. Plus his naugahyde cover makes him really tough against stains. Much better prospect than Tim Couch was a few years ago.\"
