I'm looking all over the place trying to find a link...

Add a RB to the list of players taken in front of us.
One less team to worry about needing a CB/LB...I think.

TEAM NEEDS
AFC West

Denver Broncos:
1) Running Back - Clinton Portis is gone, but the Broncos offensive line is so good that the rookie who is eventually drafted will gain 1,200 yards.
2) Wide Receiver - Ed McCaffrey might retire and Rod Smith is getting old.
3) Defensive Tackle - This is Denver\'s biggest problem area. A playmaker is needed now.
4) Free Safety - A cover safety is needed to offset Kenoy Kennedy\'s hard-hitting style.
5) Defensive End - A pass rush is sorely needed.

Maybe receiver?

Have you heard about this? It was on the ticker tape at the bottom of ESPN a little bit ago.

Bengals trade for Pro Bowl corner

Deltha O\'Neal
4-9-04, 11:40 a.m.
BY GEOFF HOBSON
In one fell swoop Friday, the Bengals got a Pro Bowl cornerback and picked up a fourth-rounder that gives them six players in the first 117 selections of the April 24-25 NFL Draft.

Late Thursday night, Cincinnati completed a trade with Denver in which they swapped first-round picks with the Broncos giving the Bengals cornerback Deltha O’Neal and a fourth-rounder to move up from No. 24 to No. 17 in the first round. Cincinnati, which picks 114th in the fourth round, now goes again 15 minutes later with Denver’s 117th pick.

The Bengals did indeed end up getting a first-round cornerback out of this draft, but it turns out to be O’Neal, 27, the 15th pick in the 2000 draft who went to the Pro Bowl following the 2001 season. Cincinnati had just 52 NFL starts at cornerback before the trade, but O’Neal brings them 36 more. ...More...

Yeah, would have been nice for us. But it also helps as far as the draft is concerned. Maybe New England or Dallas will trade ahead of Denver to get a RB. The odds of us getting our man are looking better.

I\'m thinking that the Bronco\'s will go for either a receiver or line backer (if they lose Ian Gold) maybe even a DT.

I\'ve been reading the posts on the Broncos website. I guess the Broncs have 2 picks in the second so alot of the posters there think that more trades are to come.

Denver biggest needs are:
1. Defensive Tackle chances are they will sign a free agent after june cuz Wilfork & harris will likely be off the board

2. CORNERBACK they are in great position to pick one of the top three( Hall, Robinson, & then Gamble)

3. Wide Receiver Aging receivers Smith & McCaffery need a replacement (Reggie Williams or Lee Evans) Leslie showed great potential but remain inconsistent

4. Running Back chances are the Broncos will start Quentin Griffin cuz he prove to be more than what they expected but still they will like to have a security blanket if he have the sophomore blues

WITH THE BRONCOS PICKING \"DUNTA ROBINSON\" I HOPE THE SAINTS PICK VILMA INSTEAD OF GAMBLE

I don\'t think they\'re going with a RB. I think they want either Starks(DT) or a LB. There is the small possibility that they are looking at Shawn Andrews, according to nfl.com.

My guess would be that they are movign up to pick up Steven Jackson, as the Cowboys and Pats both pick right before them.
