wrong or not, Goodell can scream player safety all he wants but this has nothing to do with safety, it is all about money. Fans buy more tickets when P. Manning is on the field, not the sidelines. He can act all holier than thou, but its a sham.

There's NEVER going to be an end to the speculation, attacks from fans of the 31 other teams, the stigma, the fans feeling hurt, the fans feeling cheated, fans feeling hurt by SP or the team....

There's just not enough evidence to out there either way to sway one way or another. Will little conspiracies arise? OF COURSE! When humans do not know all the facts they fill in the blanks.

Here is the BEST THING! The draft is coming and the season will soon follow. It will be behind us before you know it. All we can hope for is Drew signs and our coach by committee gets us to the promised land....

BUT IF THEY SUSPEND HALF OUR DEFENSE THIS LATE BEFORE THE DRAFT OR AFTER, I PREDICT THERE WILL BE RIOT!!! LOL

It's weird to me that all of the Saints are coming out with this "yeah, pay-for-performance, but pay-for-injury, I don't...you know...I don't think there was any of that going on"

Instead of "I didn't take payments to injure anybody, and no one I know of took any payments to injure anybody. If someone got paid by Gregg or someone else for something like that, I wouldn't know, but I never saw anything like that"

Both are media friendly, one of them implies that this whole thing is BS, the other implies that the crap was going on but they don't think the NFL's evidence is strong enough to do anything severe to them.
