I guess that explains how we got beat by the 49ers and their brilliant (sarcasm) QB, Alex Smith.
Having Drew has been great, and we all hope it continues that way, but one man does not make a team. He is merely part of it. I'm tired of hearing that we sucked without Drew. Of course we did, but we also sucked before Sean Payton, and Marques Colston, Jahri Evans, Carl Nicks, Lance Moore, Pierre Thomas, etc. My point is that Drew didn't come here by himself and single handedly turn us around. He has been the biggest part, and for that I would like him to stay, but he's still one part. And there is a little something called integrity that goes a long way. Sometimes you have to let a really good player go to make a point that no one is bigger than the team, if that player is making it clear he thinks of himself that way. There's no room for big heads on a championship team. I never imagined I would have to question the integrity of Drew Brees, but right now I do. I'm not saying he has none, because he may yet do the right thing. We'll just have to see.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
