The question wasn't whether he was slow. You said he wasn't part of the falcons offense anymore. I just pointed out that he was a big part of the falcons offense just last season.

Re: Atlanta game

They went 13-3 because they ran into creampuff schedule and like every season lately, didnt have any injuries hardly.

Thats been the reason behind their success with a 13 win and 10 win campaign as of the recent years.

I think the Falcons need to watch footage of their 2008 season because they had more of an identity that season than they ever had under Mike Smith and co, at least they stuck to doing what they do best that season. Thats truly been a more successful year for the Falcons than any other year under Matt Ryan/Mike smith.

Thats when Turners was "The Burner" as in speed, do you think he is fast and explosive now?

Re: Atlanta game

I'm looking through the records, I don't think Nolan or Koetter have ever been on a 13-3 team in their careers.

I am not even sure if Mike Nolan is a good D-Coordinator, I never seen his body of work like more well known D-Coordinators like a Rex Ryan, Gregg Williams, Steve Spags, or Wade Philips.

I consider Nolan a lesser coach of the defense than any of those guys. I remember when Nolan coached San Fran and they never had a defense or an offense for that matter. He went to Denver, not even sure what denvers defense was like last year, it didnt stand out to me none.

Now you got Nolan going to Atlanta, question I am asking is, what is on that roster defense wise that Nolan is really going to use and make a good defense out of? Answer is, I see pretty much nothing except maybe 2 players that are at least decent, I think one is a LB and the other a CB. I think the Falcons last D-Coordinator probably got about as much out of that unit as one could get, I cant imagine Mike Nolan getting anymore out of it, he may end up getting less since Lofton is gone.

I dunno about Koetter, is Koetter the OC they hired from JAX?

All I know is is that they trying to change up to a passing team now more than a running team, they need to know if Matt Ryan can succeed in such a system, when Ryan has been forced to air it out, it has not been a pretty sight.

I wish you guys could have watched that game last night. The starters were on fire. Matt Ryan was just too agressive on one throw and forced the ball to Roddy White, resulting in a pick, but other than that he played a fantastic game. Matt Ryan's deep balls were on point, and he was a lot more accurate.
