saying brees only cares about numbers and isn't a leader is the most retarded argument i've ever heard...
remember how brees held work outs during the lock out? i'm 100% that he wasn't thinking 'i can break dan marino and johnny unitas' record if i do this'. that's leadership...and yeah, it sucked that he held out during the offseason, but that was on both sides. brees should have been paid right away, but it isn't that black and white. there are these guys called agents who have the sole job of making sure elite players (like brees) get as much money as they can, which leads to lengthy negotiations. it's still a business after all.
i see you also mention roethlisberger in defence of your awful, awful post. team leaders don't get charged multiple times with sexual assault..i don't care how many rings you have, if your definition of 'leadership' is having off season issues that include rape, you and i have contrasting opinions on leadership.
