What are we going to do about Hartley?
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; We ALL KNOW if we cut him he will come back every year and beat us. Just like Morten Andersen did. Drafting a kicker is not a sure thing take the Saints last drafted place kicker for instance. He was ...

This game will most likely be won or loss with hartley.imo we are getting better in the red zone on defense. Meaning they will get there share of points.hartley must follow suit.

How many "Elite" Kickers are there? if he only missed 2 kicks and that put him at 80% someone would still want him cut. Go ahead and draft another kicker and watch the growing pains.

I would not cut him, he has proven he can kick in the league, I would bring in some competition in training camp (not a draft pick) to keep him honest. I don't think he is a bad kicker, he just misses once in a while at a bone-headed range.
