Jabari Greer, Brees and others
Even though our defense struggles at times, greer has looked lost all season when was our most reliable shutdown corner and best defensive player
But he is an absolute weak link this year Teams are targeting him like never before He got burned twice in the ATL game for 54 and 49 yards, he is just getting beat soundly every single week all our corners got owned vs giants but pat robinson and elbert mack put up a little bit of a fight Dont even mention johnny patrick either, what a waste of space that dude is whenever that kick returner made it past the 30 yard line, johnny patrick would make a half assed attempt at a tackle and totally whiff it, it happened 3 times We have a lot of holes that need to be filled I've seen brees throw better passes when he's under more pressure, he had a totally clean pocket and gift wrapped that pick when he tried to throw to graham He knows not to make those throws, he never used to before, so why is he now? Mark ingram and PT had a nice game when they were being run, I seriously think Ivory will be gone soon and Ingram will get even more carries, in my opinion his play in the second half of the season means hes earned them |

Drew's arm looks weak to me right now.

Re: Jabari Greer, Brees and others
CB's - If we stick with Spags we need to focus on zone CB's, which are easier to find and less expensive.
Greer plays well man to man but does look bad trying to cover in zone. I think our top 3 CB's are better suited to play mostly man coverage. |

Re: Jabari Greer, Brees and others
Nothing wrong with Drew's arm, now his decision making is another story. No way he should have thrown those two passes that were intercepted. Drew's trying to do to much and not letting his teammates do their jobs. As fans we've given drew a pass on his poor play, well enough lets just tell it like it is and he's playing like ****.
This man is not playing like a 100 million dollar QB, not the guy we've seen in years past. |

I'm sure arm strength has nothing to do with it, not to mention he was wearing gloves & the cold & the rain on top of it.

No matter how good he's been in the past one thing has always been constant with Brees he's had a head coach in SP that understood where his head and mood were at all times during practice and the games. And he took care of the minor details in every facet of the team to make sure everything went smoothly for the guy running the offense on the field.
Carmichael is not the type to throw in some plays short pass plays or hand offs after Brees makes a bad decision...it seems like he just encourages Brees to press even more with the way he calls plays. For example...those passes that were dropped, fumbled, or tipped and picked off by the likes of Jed Collins, Colston, and Graham would have been rectified by SP. And SP would have changed the playcalling accordingly until he felt it was time to go back to those players after major mistakes. Brees by himself is still gonna go back to his guys no matter what when in actuallity he should go to the ones that have more ball security and production i.e. the short pass/run game. |

Payton not being there has to play a role in Drew's bad decisions and the at times bad play calling...

Re: Jabari Greer, Brees and others
Drew doing too much???? What does that mean exactly? he is doing exactly what he has been doing for the last 5 years just not as good. I hate to be the guy but i think we have seen his best years. The whole "drew doing too much" is bogus. drew trying to do too much would be him trying to kick field goals now
