I guess Im just quick to fire a guy that put trash play on the field, despite the off field distractions. He needs to be held accountalbe in some fashion.

Maybe he put trash players on the field. Spags is one of the best in the business.

Just an observation: Mike Ditka was never a good coach in Chicago. It was Buddy Ryan's defense who carried that team.

Oh Hell no.

Like I said many times before, Ditka came here because Buddy D suggested as much. Buddy D did more to destroy the Saints than what most people believe or think to due to his relationship with Tom Benson.

Over all the team was like a high school kid being left unsupervised by his parents for a weekend...look at the play calling on offence, poor special teams play...everything was just willy nilly.
Give Spags a year under big daddy SP and see what he can do. I'm optimistic.
