Now while PFF player ratings seem to be the cream of the crop rating system these days, we still have to remember it's still subjective. We do not have the luxury of knowing the exact play call and the exact responsibility of each player on every play. Another player's ineffectiveness could greatly affect another player's rating w/o knowing any of this. Did they play bad, yes of course... we all know that. But the incompetence of the players in front of them definitely played a enormous role in Harper/Jenkins rating. They're hardly as bad as where they are ranked. |
