My guess is that the Jets are gonna pull the trigger only if they get the guys they want at 9 and 13. Or something of that sort.

Re: Drew Brees might’ve spilled beans on Chris Ivory trade
Jets will not likely want to move out of the #9 or #13 spot as they will have 2 shots at solid picks to help rebuild a truly disastrous team. To move from #13 to #15 and acquire Chris Ivory would be a dream come true for them and frankly offers us very little in return. I doubt there will be someone 2 spots ahead we need to make that trade for.
I am confident we will be looking to trade down for the right price and if the right price doesn't materialise then we will hit into someone like Jarvis Jones or Barkevious Mingo. Kenny Vaccaro is also an option in this spot. |

Re: Drew Brees might’ve spilled beans on Chris Ivory trade
Saints @ 1.15 has a value of 1050 points, plus Chris Ivory
Jets @ 1.13 = 1150 points and at 5.8 = 39.5 pts, total value 1st plus 5th = 1189.5 pts Difference between us is 139.5 pts, which would essentially be giving Ivory a low 3rd value. I don't think the Jets put that high of a value on him, as much as I want them to BUT without the fifth rounder thrown in, the difference is only 100 pts, giving Ivory a value of a high 4th rounder, which maybe the Jets WILL go for |

Being that its a trade-up market the Jets may actually throw in that 5th. (oops, the offer was a 6th instead) |

I think Lane Johnson may be the guy we want, but we're gonna need to jump to 9 to get him.

Re: Drew Brees might’ve spilled beans on Chris Ivory trade
take your pick
42 Abdul-Quddus, Isa S 6-1 220 23 3 Fordham 25 Bush, Rafael S 5-11 200 25 3 South Carolina State 41 Harper, Roman S 6-1 200 30 8 Alabama 27 Jenkins, Malcolm S 6-0 204 25 5 Ohio State 36 Leonhard, Jim S 5-8 188 30 9 Wisconsin 37 Nelson, Jerico S 5-10 216 23 1 Arkansas look some where along the way to this 34 transition we wil have to take our lumps for a season or or two. then you also have the draft and there are some good options to take a risk pick on after the second round, |

Re: Drew Brees might’ve spilled beans on Chris Ivory trade
If we could trade back what about sorting both tackle positions with Fluker and Faulk?.
We can manage at RT but the chance to have the whole O-Line under contract for the foreseeable future. |
