Not clearly.

Ask any coach, player scuffles happen alot more than we hear about. Caught the tail end of a coach interview on the radio yesterday, and he said that he had a player scuffle during halftime of a game where they were blowing out the opponent. All of this will become a distant memory later in the season.

A league source tells us that Saints quarterback Aaron Brooks and defensive end Charles Grant got into a rumble on the flight back from the team\'s 34-10 pasting at the hands of the Arizona Cardinals.

If the Saints score a td on the first two drives as they should have, it would have done much more to demoralize the opponent. Think about it, N.O. 14-0 in the 1st quarter, only allowing 4 yards. The mental aspect of the game is already won, and the Saints coast. I blame this game on the Offense early on, and the defensive scheme in every game. They do nothing to address how badly they are getting destroyed on the inside. I am glad Mike Martz is a moron, otherwise, we would have lost that game as well if the Rams would have ran the ball. Think about it, Bulger ran 19 yards untouched, he isn\'t exactly Mike Vick.

Alright, enough with the blame on Brooks. 08, I was critical on Brooks as much as anyone but let\'s face it, this year he seems to have stepped up his game and showing more emotion as a leader. He still has a few flaws but point out someone on this team who doesn\'t. I think the snap in shotgun formation sucks, it\'s slow and high 90% of the time which throws off everything. I think the problem with the game against AZ was the coaches getting more involved with the game planning. If they would miss a game or two we would be right back in the hunt. I think our pass routes generally suck. I don\'t understand why, with the new rule this year against chucking the receivers down the field, and the speed we have at WR, we aren\'t stretching the field more. Well, I do know, his name is McCarthy. If you can take this team, exactly as it is, change the coaches, and know that we would be contenders, then I\'d say the players for the most part aren\'t the problem.

How many deep balls have been completed since AB took over? Its not something he does well. They can try to stretch the field and just throw it, but the defense knows he cant the deep ball well. This isnt me bashing Brooks. Just stating the fact. They try to do what he does well. Defenses start to figure out that the slant is coming. How many slants get run per game? Arizona\'s db\'s started jumping those routes. Why not try a double move? When the defense knows whats coming it makes things a little complicated to execute.

Alright BlackandBlue , wake up and take notes .

This bull starts in January with Horn going off on Haslett about not starting Delhomme when Brooks was injured .We got questioning authority and the decision process , not like Horn came out and said \"Brooks came out and gave it all he had , he is our man and we need to stick together \" .

Deuce gets a little vocal and now we got Grant , the refusal of Grant to comment is what is interesting to me . Not to mention the cast off cancerous players .

All of this will become a distant memory later in the season.
Or it\'s the early warning to the volcanic eruption that happens later ....

Took this from another site

Poster says source is a radio sports show in San Diego ....

According to Bill Werndl they got into an argument on the plane. When the plane landed they got into it again after AB made the comment, \"I can\'t win behind this offensive line.\" Charles Grant took offense to this and went after AB again.

Werndl is pretty well connected in the NFL circles. Who knows if this is right or wrong but Werndl did say, \"Jim Haslett is gone after this year.\" Blames the struggles on coaching.
Now for some reason this makes sense , rather then Grant calling the Offense out ...

You have GOT to admit, 08, that you are the most presumptuous poster on this board.

This team is the \"Where\'s Waldo?\" of the NFL. Can you find them? Do not bet on them in Vegas.

I begged and pleaded that the Saints would go long earlier this week to spread the defenses but to no avail. I know, I know, we all have solutions for this team but the management seems happy to achieve mediocrity. A 4.2 fourty is insane. You have two receivers that run it. At least run them there once or twice a game.

As far as \"And the Answer is:\" ? The answer is Dulamus McAllister. Aaron Brooks is a top ten quarterback, Duece is a top five runningback. I can\'t wait for him to come back. He IS the answer.

\"When I talked to him today, he said he had to re-evaluate -- looking at the film, make sure that he\'s doing his part,\" Haslett said
Sure Jim, that\'s what he meant.

I wonder if Gandy and Riley were arguing with him about tipping the snap.

I think he may lift his foot about a half second before the snap and Riley and Gandy are getting embarrassed by speed rushers, leading to the off-sides problems.

Brooks may want to see the film for himself before he accepts blame.
In this case, we actually agree completely. I meant to mention this last week and forgot. Brooks need to stop taking a half step forward a half second before the snap. It makes it real obvious to ID when the ball is being snapped. Also, I\'ve wondered over and over - how is that not a false start? I\'m surprised he hasn\'t been flagged for it.

So what your telling me is, a poster, who will remain nameless...because his name wasn\'t given, from another site, and the name of that site was also not given, states that a \"radio talk show personality\" who also happens to be well connected in NFL circles, spread a story about what had happened on the plane, and I\'m supposed to eat that???
So the Phillies are in the playoffs and President Bush really did receive special treatment while in the National Guard. Think for yourself, question authority.

\"When I talked to him today, he said he had to re-evaluate -- looking at the film, make sure that he\'s doing his part,\" Haslett said
The exact quote was, \"I need to re-evaluate my position here in New Orleans.\" So, does that mean he\'s going to watch game film in Mississippi from now on???
