I love the empty back field set. There are so many possibilities.......it is a thing of beauty with Drew Brees under center.

The ever changing formations are key to the Saints offense...

Over the past several years, when listening to recently retired players that played against Payton's Saints, there's a common thread...

...they talk about the Saints having multiple formations and how those player's defenses often get caught in mismatches because of their inability to keep up with countering personnel changes...

...I would love to watch a Sean Payton practice where they "rehearse" changing formations on a simulated drive - because I certainly like the game day results...
