He throws that route better then any other route. That pass is always pretty, and usually always works. Colston or Graham everytime.

Yes Sir. The only way it could have been prettier, is if it were in the end zone.
Watch that clip though. He had no pressure and a nice pocket to step up into...something he didn't have the rest of the night.

Re: Brees

A little drew love.....

- He's 35...... That's that when I'm ready, I'm ready age..... Not the same as when you make me wait 1 hour and 15 minutes....

- they spent a billion dollars on defense, and we spent 100 million dollars on him and about 2 dollars and 50 cent on the line in order to protect him.....

- the decisions were bad but he was able to shake them off and get us the win......

- whatever love affair Shawn has for mark Ingram has gotta stop...they teach you to keep pushing the pile in preschool. And he to damn big to be running tapping his feet like Reggie bush.

- Shawn did give drew a stern ass talking to over on the sidelines after that second int if you saw it..... That was more than I saw kromer, or Vitt do last season.... The boss is Shawn people, and he got drew mind right before that last drive.

You shouldn't throw stones if you live in a glass house, and if have a glass jaw you should watch your mouth..... cause I'll break your face!!! -50 cent

Re: Brees

About Drew.. (For those that do not like stats this will sting)

Look at his INT alone is like looking at Ingram's total yardage... The real picture is in the break down of TDs, INTs, per Att. I will use 2012 season for my run through

Drew has the second most attempts in 2012. Naturally one should assume he would have second most INTs.

Sort ATT between INT Drew is near Middle of the pack with Brady being the best that year. Drew has an IT every 35.26 attempts.

Sort ATT between TD Drew is number one with the fewest ATT between TDs. with a TD between every 15.58 Attempts

Drew's numbers are not as ugly as people make them out to be.. His interceptions are though ... Gawd he throws them at the most inopportune moment with the largest distance between the ball and a receiver lol...

He is the TD king however and that comes at a price. Ill take a TD king any day.

Do I cut Drew Brees more slack and I cut most players? There is zero delusion here, I do... Mainly because there are about what, 4 people on the earth I could thank for bringing the first Super Bowl to New Orleans? He is one of them. Didnt do it alone but wouldn't have happened with out him.

I saw him do one thing last night twice that made me feel good. He was going down and thought about that damned toss to who ever was close and didn't. He tucked it and took the sack. How many INT's did he have in 2010 because he tried a quick shovel to avoid a sack.. I remember a few, I believe at least 2-3 of them shoveled right into a defenders hands.

Drew was hanging on to the ball. Normally nothing matters to Drew, he can dink and dunk you to death... For some reason he was hesitant last night, a few times we had an open short pass and he didnt take it.
I noticed the same - and I wonder if this is the result of some new faces? I'm just guessing, but Drew doesn't violate that internal clock too often, so seeing that yesterday was definitely strange.

Good stats. Maybe I'm too hard on him. I'm going to continue to be though. I want another Super Bowl before he retires and we run the risk of the bags coming back out.

So I guess this week you are going to hate on Geno Smith, and Kaepernick? They both threw more than Drew, and I do believe RG III has 3 same as Drew.

Shhhh dont tell anyone, I actually whipped out excel. You are not too hard on him, just take what he does with a grain of salt because for every screwup he has 5 great plays.

Sit on the street outside my house when Drew throws an INT or shovels it to a defender... You wont even have to roll your window down to hear me..
