But yeah, heavy picks bother me no matter the QB. |

The first int. he threw was a play the defensive guy made a great play on the ball, the second one Brees threw a turd.

Re: Brees
Don't get wrapped around the axle on this. Drew had a bad game, the offense as a whole didn't play all that well. It happens and btw TB does have a real good defense, add in the rain delay and voila, the receipe for disaster. We narrowly avoided it. The last minute drive where we didn't use the sidelines to stop the clock completely took TB by surprise. The genius of SP & DB once again on display.

Re: Brees
I said it in another thread. I think that shot he took affected him more than we know. His passes got shorter and less accurate after he took that hit. The long ball seemed like it was non-existant after that...except for the last drive...when it counted most. He'll work hard this week, and he'll pick the Cards apart next weekend.

Re: Brees
and after all that beating he took and the interceptions and poor decisions and uninspired play, he threw this pass:

Re: Brees
He throws that route better then any other route. That pass is always pretty, and usually always works. Colston or Graham everytime.

Watch that clip though. He had no pressure and a nice pocket to step up into...something he didn't have the rest of the night. |
