this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Played his first game last week to knock some rust off and now has a few weeks to rest up a bit. He is a very scary weapon when healthy. Is anyone worried he might have a coming out party ...

Re: Percy Harvin
Not my job to worry about him. I'll leave that up to the coaches/players and I'll sit back and enjoy the game.

Re: Percy Harvin
Think we have the corners to keep up with him and we've played him before so it won't be such a surprise.

Re: Percy Harvin
There was something about Percy Harvin that had Minnesota none-too-concerned about sending him to Seattle ... was it the injury bug? attitude? I can't remember, but there was something that made you think that while he would catch some passes in Seattle, he wasn't gonna' be the superstar the Seahawks thought they were getting.

Re: Percy Harvin
Golden Tate will be the nuisance, not Harvin. Although I'd try not to kick it to him if possible.

Re: Percy Harvin
Keenan Lewis will probably take away Tate from the game. Lewis has already shut down better WRs than him this year.
I like the matchup of Corey White on Doug Baldwin as long as White plays physical with him. Harvin is Seattle's slot WR. That's Chris Carr's assignment. Vaccaro also plays slot sometimes if I'm not mistaken. Harvin will get his yards, no doubt, but he won't have a field day imo. Our secondary is good. I like how we matchup with their WRs. Combine that with our DL, which is one of the best at getting after the QB, and I don't think Russell Wilson has a big game. Shutting down Marshawn Lynch will be a bigger problem. |
