lamo you saw what i saw today. white definitely need to work on reading the wr and reacting. i really like White in the slot and i think that is where he belongs. remember injury is the only reason he is outside. there are some good CB in the draft but tackling is often over looked. look at day 2 and three for so,e really nice CB to draft and develop and have shown great promise with improvement of there over all game this year.

I've seen it all year by everyone except Lewis. Far too many times our corners are in catch up mode. People say I'm a pessimistic fan but I see what I see. I don't care for White at all except for depth

Id also love to see some offensive line upgrades and some Lb upgrades but secondary is my biggest need IMHO

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

We are all here talking about drafting defensive players when really it's our offense that needs help.

Ty Montgomery WR Stanford 6015 215 4.52/4.42
I can round 1 going to Odell Beckham Jr. WRhe has SP falsh and dash written all over him. lol

I would love to see Cyril Richardson selected by the saints. a well rounded OG that has speed/quickness to play some ROT. 355 pound men are not suppose to be that quick.

The next pick Morgan Moses, also address the Ol and it's present day depth as well as looking to the future for new starters. i now i am beating my drum for this kid but to get a RT that has the ability to play LT if needed is a glaring need. That was Streifs job before he became a starter and the saints have not found a player to take that role. I really think he will stand out at the combine. ROT that can has the quickness of a OG when pulling? not bad. i rate him as one of the better gambles in the draft.

Both player come from teams that require blocking at the second level, pulling and screen blocking. Both are probably among the best at playing on the move. run blocking is not an issue and both are solid pass blockers also. with them the saints would get immediate upgrade for team speed and athleticism on the OL.

with both picks you might have the future replacement to go with Armstead.

WR is an issue plus a blocking TE would help. god knows Graham is one of the worse blocking TE in the NFL.

I'd like a #1 wr so teams can't put their best corners/safeties on Graham. Mike Evans A&M.

I'm leaning toward a WR to go along with Stills, Graham can't get off a phsical corner for crap, I don't see him getting off a #2 or #3 corner all that well that plays physical, it could be a real problem. Also do you cough up a ton of money when he has holes that big in his game?

I think you do. Even with "holes that big" he's still the leading receiver among TEs, by a pretty big margin.

Play to his strengths and work on his weakness'.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

lee i was thinking washington would trade back into the first with there second rounder since they do not have a 1 and with RG# , a new coach and glaring needs up and down the OL. i think the coach will want to make improvements right out of the gate.
