Re: 2014 NFL Draft

I wouldn't touch a WR unless one of the real stars fell to us and they wont. Colvins injury will take a top pick of the board earlier.Im seeing more analyst going with either Antonio Richardson to book end the Tackles or Kony Ealy who looks immense on the small number of snaps I have watched on youtube. The experts have him likened to Aldon Smith and him opposite Junior with Cam and Hicks either side of Bunkley/Jenkins makes for one hell of a massive and athletic D-Line thst should cause havoc collapsing the pocket.

Anyone in mind?

Calvin Pryor could be there when the Saints pick.

Deone Bucannon should be there in the 2nd if we miss out on him Nickoe Whitley out of Mississippi State can be had between the 3rd and 5th he went up against good competition this year and looks like a ball-hawk like Bucannon.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

JP's Saints Mock Draft, not sexy, but a great re-stock group...

R1 OT Morgan Moses, Virginia, 6-6/325

R2 DB Pierre Desir, Lindenwood, 6-1/195

R3 LB Jeremiah Attaochu, Georgia Tech, 6-3/252

R4 C Marcus Martin, USC, 6-3/310

R5 NT Zach Kerr, Delaware, 6-2/334

R6 RB Rajion Neal, Tennessee, 5-11/210

R7 TRADED for Parys Haralson to 49ers for 2014 conditional seventh round pick

Notes: Big Changes when you get all these prospects in the same room competing against each other...

Best Player Available definitely trumps need...

Hope we're very active in exploring trades...

There's an abundance of young talent with a ton of upside...

This is the draft to have extra mid-round picks to replace expensive slower veterans...

Biggest Disappointment has been in Deonne Buccanon; he's struggled in coverage skills; maybe nerves, maybe level of competition, will see how he does in game...

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

The more I read on Buccanon the more I'm starting to think different, not saying he is bad but I'm starting to swing toward Renolds and believe he can fit better in Ryans scheme better but if we miss out on Renolds I could see Whitley also.
