Okay, starting to feel like this guy is the under-the-radar wide receiver that we may draft...

Been looking at this size, skills, ability to geaux up and get the ball; then I saw this interview...

Auburn edge rusher Dee Ford has been told he's going in "the 20 to 30 range."

In a candid interview with NFL.com, Ford revealed that Philadelphia and New Orleans have expressed the most interest in his services. He has already worked out with the Patriots, and has the Colts and Bucs coming up. "Other than that, I have a lot of teams interested," Ford said. "I think the Senior Bowl gave teams all they needed to see. The next step will be these private workouts once these pro days start to narrow down."

I go back and forth when it comes to Dee Ford. If we're going to use our first-rounder on an edge rusher then part of me would like someone more well-rounded like Kyle Van Noy who excels in coverage as well as rushing the passer... I don't care if the "experts" don't project Van Noy as a first-rounder. I don't know... It's all a crap-shoot and thank God I don't have to be in Loomis's shoes.

While KVN may be more rounded, Ford is WAY more of impact player. The Saints need impact and playmakers on defene.

1. NT Nix - BPA and adds to the best young DL rotation in the NFL.
2. CB Jean-Baptiste - Playmaker/Shutdown CB with size.
3. C Swanson - Anchors the line for years to come.
4. SS Dixon - BPA. Ryan likes 3 safties. Insurance for KV's health.
5. K Boswell - Kicking problem solved.
5. OLB Powell - 2nd round ability. Drops due to injury's. Mean/forceful.
6. WR Janis - Colston part deux with more speed.

I am not a big Ford fan, if we draft him he might prove me wrong, he played on a line that got a great push up the middle, while our D-line has done real well I truely believe Nix ( if he falls which I don't believe he will )or Hageman would be a much better pick for our D-line. Those 2 would give us a very disruptive front line.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

Cherokee Tribune - Attaochu joins Georgia Tech teammates for pro day

He missed the league’s scouting combine last month in Indianapolis, but went through requisite interviews with several NFL teams, including Tennessee, the New York Jets, New Orleans, Cincinnati, Buffalo, Philadelphia and the New York Jets.

Johnson said the team that drafts Attaochu, a science, technology and culture major who ranks as the Atlantic Coast Conference’s No. 5 career leader with 31.5 sacks, won’t regret it.

“He brings the total package. Not only will he be a great player. He’ll be a great representative off the field as well.”
