We need Bunkley. If we can restructure great but you need two NTs. These guys need to rotate. Jenkins was great in the beginning of the year but wore down toward the end because he played way too many downs when Bunkley was out.

True!! I have in my mock Ra'Shede Hageman DT out of Minnesota in the first, the guy can play all 3 positions on the line and commands alot of double teams letting the lb.'s crash in also would be able to rotate with anyone on the line to give them a breather, that could be a big difference in the 3-4 rotation when we carry 6 linemen and 8 lb.

Actually the cut him talk is warranted because both Ingram and Robinson flourished w/o Thomas. As far as the screen game, given time Ingram and Robinson can both master it, plus their running style is a welcome addition to our offense. Something we have had since 2006 Deuce. And if we can cut Deuce, we can cut Pierre.

Yeah, nobody wants to see PT gone... I understand his effectiveness. But I long to get away from carrying 5 $%^# Running Backs on the roster when only three are needed....... You wanna know the reason we have a " screen game"? It's mostly because we don't have a run game.... We have become a slave to the screen.... And teams realize it, and they make us pay for it........... bottom line, Can I get some one to come in and run the screen like PT, probably not...... But can I get a truck Alfred Morris type running back from this draft to run the damn ball better so we won't have to rely on the screen so much.... That's more likely....
This is correct.

It would cost more to cut him than to simply keep him.

It's funny how you place a Saints jersey on a player, and it masks there deficiencies, Mark Ingram takes too long to get going...... And he has a fumbling issue.... that still remains uncorrected... That is the truth. The fact that he is in a Saints Jersey doesn't mask the problem enough for me...

Khiry Robinson..... He looks like the future of the Saints... He needs real help though ( Jeremy Hill, LSU) or ( Andre Williams, Boston College)

Mark Ingram...... He pulls you in just to let you down... Im done. If they decide to keep him it's just gonna be another agonizing up and down season..... Please cut bait and trade him...Again JMHO<<<

Pierre Thomas..... I understand the love, he's earned it, me included. But there comes a time when separation is required, this is that time. What you hear from people who wanna keep him now is " He's the best screen back we have" which is funny to me because his position is running back... For me, It's not that I don't love him.... It's just time!

Travis Cadet.... Seriously.. Did you guys realize he got a playoff carry against Seattle. I swear if you took a second to pop your popcorn you missed it. Why is he on the squad!!

Darren Sproles..... He was used less and less and less..... I believe he never fully healed from all the injuries sustained during the season, I would keep him as the backup to Khiry and ( NEW RUNNING BACK)

You shouldn't throw stones if you live in a glass house, and if have a glass jaw you should watch your mouth..... cause I'll break your face!!! -50 cent

Re: Who to cut (cap hits included)

Will Smith=cut only back if he would play for a vet min. contract.jabri Greer=cut he has two things against him age an a very bad torn up knee an leg.Only way back would be if would sign a vet min contract an see how his knee an leg responds,More likely he retires a saint.Between Sproles an thomas keep one cut the other.I would cut sproles as i think his skill set could be replaced with the saints last pick a 6th round pick.Bunkley we keep between him an Jenkins the Saints are set at the NT position.Moore needs to take a pay cut but only of about 33% any more saints risk him going to another team.If the saints have to franchise Jimmy is it at TE or Wr with wr being the cheaper route if it ends up in arbi court look for a split the def.- settlement. If Drew restructures contract should allow enough to pay for Jimmy an resign key players like Haralson an Stieff-punte-dawson-humber-an yes Meachem, along with RFAs like bush etc,The one player i see walking is malcolm the FS as i think another team will overspend for jenkins

Two fumbles in 3 years is a fumbling issue?

I don't think he is a fumbler, I think he is a late bloomer like McCoy from Philly. Philly was talking about letting him go at 1 time. Look at him now. Robinson and Ingram can be a fine duo this year with PT playing in a relief role. I would hate to lose PT, he would be at the least a A grade sub. Sproles I would trade.
