Damned dyslexia!

Is it really that bad? When you look at out roster do you see 4-12 or something close to it?

Re: Grade Our Draft!

Any way you look at it the draft is a crapshoot, and there's no such thing as a guaranteed pick. So, ML and SP decided to make some risky picks this year around, which does make the likelihood of all of the picks panning out somewhat more unlikely. But if they do hit gold with some of these guys, they'll be hailed as masterminds.

So, all in all, it's a good move by them since most are not expecting much from these lower picks, and they can always point to the injuries as one of the reasons why they didn't deliver as expected.

Not this coming year as we already have the talent we need.... for the most part. Our true deficiency last year (and looking like this year) was on the OL, and I don't see any improvement on that. Most of Drew's picks came from him being hurried and that was from an insufficiency at the center spot not to mention a lack of choices in the tackle spots as well. We've lost Kromer and I didn't see Ingalls as being any kind of equal to him. Even if he is, he needs some material to work with. We are easily a knockdown, a hurry, a sack or a pick away from a Superbowl.

Don't really like La Bust either at second. He was kind of like a Brady Quinn. Looked really good against lower level teams, but you don't see many in the way of highlights when he played against the two good teams.

I will be happy to be proven wrong, very happy, but...

Lelito - We don't know yet, all e can so is trust for now and wait and see.

Armstead - Played better than Chuck no? Played a good bit better in the end and playoffs, no?

So far unless your disagreeing we've gotten better... At very worst stayed equal.

I 1/2 agree with you on Drew's passing issues. The other 1/2 was WRs not getting separation, Stills really came along at the end and Cooks should be able to do at least as well.

4th ranked defense. Are we worse anywhere?

Didn't think so.

O-Line issues running first 1/2 of the season was the o-line adjusting to the new blocking scheme. Got better in the end and playoffs.

Special Teams - Who knows, not caring now. I still see that as a coaching issue.

So..... We lost Sproles. Loss of talent.... But became a worse team? I'm not so sure, id go with less predictable and that's is what everyone has wanted.

Lost Moore? Replaced him with worse?

So you see, I don't get it. If it's not this coming year then we will have another free agency period and draft before each season after.

Re: Grade Our Draft!

You grade drafts based on the potential and quality of players you picked, not on whether they addressed some perceived need.
Don't knock the players we picked just because they don't play Center.

Those same people had Houston and Atlanta in the SuperBowl last year.

Coach Payton already said there were only a hand full of Centers and their value didn't align with our draft picks.

Reach for a Center and the parade starts lining up, reach for a WR and here come the fire and brimstone.
