Re: Five Reasons Someone Will Steal Jimmy Graham from the Saints
I would put quite a bit of money on the fact that you couldn't. Graham is not your prototypical blocking TE. His value as a playmaker FAR, FAR outweighs any perception that he can't block. I would much rather have a player that can catch over 100 passes, score over 15 TD's and receive for over 1000 yards than have an extra freaking offensive tackle. The Saints are a better team with Graham on the field than they are without him on the field. THAT is a fact.

As for this site it is full of grownups who love the Saints and want to show support for there team.
PS: Gronk can block and is a playmaker. That is what we could use. Not a show boat who is demanding Drew Brees money. |

It is pretty damned difficult for the TE to be involved in the blocking game when the coaching staff has him out in that position.
In other words, the Saints ran a totally different offence in 2009 than they did last year. Yes, here it comes again ... |

If he leaves he could easily be replaced by a traditional TE( one that does what a TE does) and a little different playcalling we wouldn't miss a beat and would be better as a O.

Graham has led the entire league in receiving TD's over the past two seasons. That is huge!
If you truly believe we wouldn't miss a beat then you do not know football. |
