You tell us how a weaker roster is better. Well? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Re: Five Reasons Someone Will Steal Jimmy Graham from the Saints
I would put quite a bit of money on the fact that you couldn't. Graham is not your prototypical blocking TE. His value as a playmaker FAR, FAR outweighs any perception that he can't block. I would much rather have a player that can catch over 100 passes, score over 15 TD's and receive for over 1000 yards than have an extra freaking offensive tackle. The Saints are a better team with Graham on the field than they are without him on the field. THAT is a fact.

If he leaves he could easily be replaced by a traditional TE( one that does what a TE does) and a little different playcalling we wouldn't miss a beat and would be better as a O.

Graham has led the entire league in receiving TD's over the past two seasons. That is huge!![]()
If you truly believe we wouldn't miss a beat then you do not know football. |

He's gotten more yards per season and TDs per season since he became a starter than any receiver Drew has ever played with or that Payton has ever been the head coach for. If it's true that he's just a product of Payton's system, he's the best product Payton's system has produced so far. |

He really needs to own guys like Sherman and Talib in THEIR house as well as his own... |

Everybody gets shut down sometime. When you lead the league in touchdowns, you're not getting shut down often? |

Graham is clearly one of the elite offensive threats in the entire NFL and some of you actually think the Saints would be better off without him. That is pure lunacy. There were 52 other players on the active roster when the Saints lost to the Seahawks and you honesty place the blame on Graham? |
