Saints' Champ Bailey: Redskins name like N-word

Well this will keep on going on and on over the Redskin name. But will never, ever go away it seems!

Unlike the n-word, the term redskin was never meant as a derogatory term. As a matter of fact, native americans coined the term as a self-identifier to distinguish themselves from the white race. Somewhere, somehow, someone found a way to bring notoriety to the term. Probably a bored politician looking to make a name for himself.
