YEP it is true REFs did not look at sea chicks they thro a few flags but if you look at film the refs could have thrown a flag on every down on sea chickns only that would have stoped the bull Sht they get by with.Think about last year drew trying to draw other team off sides ref throw 3 flags the 3rd time Drew did it to shame refs to prove point. Its a wonder saints did as well as they did last year considering every game zebras gunning for saints.12th man saints true champs in NFC.

also sea chicks QB was the golden boy last year.If the saints did what sea chiks did say from 20 yard line Refs throw about 6 to 7 flags put ball on one yard line.Point was only a loop hole for a few teams but the one with a wink an nod was sea hicks champs shame on them.Yes refs could have broke up B sht they were allowed to do think back how they did 3 flags in a row on Drew trying to draw other team off side an Drew was within letter of rules he did it the 3rd time because he was so pissed at REFS.REFs need to be under a independent body of reps one for each of the 32 teams.

Re: Revisiting Seattle: When the Saints Nearly Broke the Legion of Boom

The sad part is its not just Seattle and if its cracked down on Seattle will act like they are being singled out

Note L Keuchly mugging Jimmy Graham while in the air
Not only no flag, no response from the broadcasters and no second showing of the obvios slow mo replay

Talib mugging Graham

Patriots/Pathers last play
An obvious flag was thrown then the head ref with no angle on the play had it picked up

I am amazed they only throw a flag or two a game on the secondary

Offensive holding could be every play
And also at times the most tcky tacky touch is called holding to stop a drive

You shouldn't have to compete against the other team and the zebras

Not to be a conspiracy theorists but
Goddell in no way wanted the Saints winning it

Reason Jimmy just had his big payday is because he is hard to defend if the other team is forced to play by rules. When Michael jordan was at top of his game what if zebras let other team mugg him.First few game in 2013 refs were fair an saints unstopable so to keep them from home field edge to me there was a wink an nod on rules change when teams played saints. Now sea chicks wre allowed to get by with on the field murder all year.

Re: Revisiting Seattle: When the Saints Nearly Broke the Legion of Boom

While it's a interesting write up and very true that as the playoff game wore on the Saints were gaining momentum and starting to be successful offensively and defensively against the Seahawks, the bottom line is they still beat us. And the first game they flat out slapped us out of the room.

You should not need 3 tries versus an opponent to start to figure them out and start executing your game plan against them. They were the better team both days. And yes, home field was a big advantage for them in each game. I fully agree, in the Dome they are lucky to beat us and the results of 2 games would likely be the exact opposite of those two.

But until we go in and beat them start to finish on any field we got nothing. And it comes across as pathetic to make excuses or blame refs.

Being one of the underdogs for almost EVER in the NFL, I can fully respect each franchise getting their 1 Super Bowl and experiencing that greatest day of a fan's life. Seattle has theirs now and I don't want to see them back. I want us to humiliate them next time. From the Coach/GM on down we are better and just need to prove it.

This is exactly how I feel. But beating Seattle in the Dome isn't good enough. I want to crush them at the Link.

I just want another Super Bowl. I don't care if we beat Seattle at home to get there, on the road, or if we don't play them at all. I don't care if all the other NFC team planes crash and we're the only team left to go to the Super Bowl. just wanna win the damn thing.
