Somebody else may remember this, but wasn\'t Roaf hurt when we let him go? Seems like he had a knee injury or something of that sort, and that there were doubts among the staff about Roaf\'s ability to recover. TIme has proven that he\'s fine, but I\'m just looking for any other rational reason he was allowed to leave.

As for Turley, I\'ve said I never was a big fan and that I don\'t miss him - all of which is true. If nothing else, it appears to have all come out in the wash, with Turley\'s likely career-ending back problem. It\'s unfortunate that\'s the way it happened, and I wish him the best.

Still miss Jerry Fontenot, too. I know he was getting old, but I don\'t think he was asking for a \"mansion on the hill\" to stay, yet we let him go anyway. I don\'t remember which game from last season, but there was a play where Jerry pulled left on a sweep and ended up lead-blocking for Deuce. He absolutely clobbered some guy! It\'s one of my all-time favorite Saints images, just wish I could remember who they were playing.
