Also for you Drew haters out there. Did you watch the pick 6 play? Drew was hit as he threw causing the ball to go high. Also if Jimmy gave as much effort on that play as he did later in his touchdown catch he should have/could have either caught the ball (it went right through his hands) or at least knocked it down.
Although I think this is a strange post because I don't think there's many Drew haters outside of Atlanta but Jimmy Graham did let that ball go right through his arms and has shown poor effort on a bunch of slightly off target balls. What to make of Jimmy? When he's not letting balls go through his arms or bounce off his legs he's jumping over three guys in the end zone making spectacular TD catches. Right now he reminds me of Randy Moss in his prime. Best pass catcher in the league but definetely taking some plays off. Why Jimmy?

Jimmy Graham did let that ball go right through his arms and has shown poor effort on a bunch of slightly off target balls.

Graham's completed 77.4% of his targets so far this season.

By comparison....

Emmanuel Sanders 75.7%
Dez Bryant 74%
Roddy White 71.4%
Keenan Allen 70.5%
Julio Jones 69.6%
Alshon Jeffery 66.6%
A.J. Green 66.6%
Randle Cobb 66.6%
Brandon Marshall 65%
Eric Decker 64.2%
Jordy Nelson 62.1%
Steve Smith 58%
Calvin Johnson 55.8%
Jememy Maclin 50%
Michael Floyd 50%
Demarius Thomas 48.1%
Rob Gronkowski 47.8%

...definetely taking some plays off

Also, he's tied for the most 1st downs in the league
2nd in the league in receptions among all receivers
ranked 4th best run blocker among all tight ends
9th in yards among all receivers

Hard to believe he can find time to take plays off.

Yea, our LBs are bad. Where has Gallette been? I'd like to see us bring the safeties up and play aggressively. I realize we'd probably get beaten deep a ton but at least we'd be trying.

Drew is ranked 5th in the NFL.
He ranks 6th in YPG
He ranks 7th in completion %

We rank 14th best in Time of Possession
We rank #3 in Total Offense
We rank #3 in Points Per Game

I just don't understand how anyone can say they're equal in blame.

Well when you cherry pick one play per game you can support any assertion, lol....

Our offense has run over 60 plays, I think, in every game You're right, I don't think TOP is the issue

Offense rankings 2014

Points per game - 3rd best
Total yards - 3rd best
Pass yards - 278.0 per game - 6th best
Rushing yards - 156.5 per game - 5th best
3rd down conversions - 57.69% - Tops in the league

Yes our offense could have done better at the end of the browns game when we needed a field goal, but when you have an offense that scores 30 points per game, nearly 60% of the time converts third downs, its the defense that is losing you games

TODAY'S DEFENSE IS NOT DESIGN TO WIN GAMES, all the browns had to do is get in field position to kick a long fg. to beat us by what 2 points however, if you score a t.d. the odds would have been in our favor.
No need to go all " Captain CAPS LOCK" on everyone

Like I said earlier, 2 weeks in a row our defense has had the opposing offense pinned inside their own 10 yard line and 2 weeks in a row they have drove the length of the field for a score

We shouldn't have to score 30 points a game to win every week, our defense should be able to hold teams under 20 points - especially a team that is missing their 3 best offensive players.

If our defense wouldn't give up 500 yards per game we wouldn't be having this discussion because we'd be 2-0.
Your point makes no sense.

Our offense is in the upper echelon of teams, in just about every statistical category (including rushing now). Again. Our defense is fighting for the lowest ring in the league, in just about every statistical category. Again. We had Atlanta dead to rights until we decided to play bumper cars, just like we did on Beast Mode. How in your head is that worthy of "equal blame"? Come on now.
