For all you people that want to blame the offense for the two losses. In the first 2 weeks of NFL games only 4 games were lost when the offense scored 24 points or more. The Saints were 2 of the 4.

Also for you Drew haters out there. Did you watch the pick 6 play? Drew was hit as he threw causing the ball to go high. Also if Jimmy gave as much effort on that play as he did later in his touchdown catch he should have/could have either caught the ball (it went right through his hands) or at least knocked it down.

statiscally our defense is horrible, but dont be fooled or deceived by the numbers. look who dats if you keep your defense on the field as much as our offense you're gonna get scored on. in our first 2 games the saints defense gave up BIG PLAYS that has a factor in those numbers. we still should have won the game if our offense didnt turn the ball over in the redzone and the pick 6. what is killing our defense is penalties. i had a conversation with a colleague of mines during the preseason and i told him that was my concern going into the regular season. i also said the one game i saw drew play he didnt look sharp. some of his passes were sailing on him and he wasnt that accurate but everyone shunned it off as "oh he's just rusty for not playing in the first 2 preseason games". i feel its just as much the offense as it is the defense.

ok read what you post. "yes our offense could have done better at the END of the game", answer me this when do you win/lose games? um at the END of the game. with 7 mins left in the game we have the ball with a one point lead. if you RUN SOME CLOCK OUT AND SCORE ( a final t.d.) you make the opposing team one dimensional meaning our defense knew you have to what, throw the ball, score a t.d. with a two point conversion and what are the odds of that happening?, very slim. once again if you have an opportunity to win the game on offense do so. TODAY'S DEFENSE IS NOT DESIGN TO WIN GAMES, all the browns had to do is get in field position to kick a long fg. to beat us by what 2 points however, if you score a t.d. the odds would have been in our favor.

i'm sorry who dats maybe i'm a different fan. its not about how many points you score necessarily its about controlling the clock. when you control the clock you can score 17 points and win games if you're eating clock up. that's my argument. we had a chance to eat up clock and score to put the game out of reach. if we would have scored we wouldnt be having this debate today trust me. we were up 1 point i repeat one point all they had to do is get into field position to kick a fg to beat us vs scoring a t.d. to do so. there is a difference. do you all not see this? f.g vs t.d's hum which one would i take if i'm the opposing team? if it was us in that position to either score a fg or having to score a t.d. plus a two point conversion which one would you take?
