Re: Should heads roll?
Payton gives play-calling duties to OC Carmichael so Payton can concentrate on trying to extinguish what is becoming a dumpster fire for this "team".
A personnel move that I think would benefit this offense is that Goodwin sits and watches Lelito until the end of the season. The defense? Ugh...where to start? And on a personal note, I'd love, love, love to see that glue-sniffing moron McMahon sent packing and give the Special Teams unit a coordinator who knows what the crap they're doing. |

That said, the offense looked like **** today and the main reason is our oline. |

Re: Should heads roll?
The o line sucked and we couldn't run the ball but the pass protection was there for most of the day. Payton with his play calling and game management lost this from the offensive side. Why wasn't Drew in no huddle in the 4th qtr. Down by 3 scores and no sense of urgency. I think payton has lost the team because they aren't responding to him. Payton's play calling has been predictable all season.

Re: Should heads roll?
We are horrible in all aspects of the game this year. Its no secret that since 2006 we have relied on the offense to carry this team even during the superbowl year. Now...you don't know what you are going to get from our offense. It doesn't surprise me though...we don't strike fear in even the worse defenses. We have no deep threat...our highest ypc this year is Meachem with 17. We used to put up 40 at home...
Special teams...what the hell....he has to be the worst coach ever! We have no return game at all... Defense...get your heads out the ground!!! They can't pressure the QB...I don't know what our safeties do but it has nothing to do with making a play....i can't tell you how many times I've seen Vaccaro standing flat footed only to watch the ball fall at his feet. We just look like an team with no identity...no drive...I don't know where we go from here but we need an overhaul from top to bottom... |
