JP, I got to disagree here, not saying your totally wrong but with Hicks and Jordan playing each side of a stud NT that looks like a good mix up front. With Harelson, Lofton, JR. and drafting a stud ILB and another late round swing man for up front(good run-stuffer) I think we will be stong against the run as well as getting pressure on passing downs and with that the secondary could look like All-Pro's. I might look at it a little different than what you look at it but I think 3 players in the draft along with a few good FA and we could have a he!! of a stout 3-4 D. I just don't know if we will draft this way?

Halloween, the regression and total lack of a pass rush all season with the exception when matchups were against opposing offenses backups is why I feel as I do...

The secondary catches alot of grief, but when passers have 4+ seconds to distribute the ball...heads need to roll up front, dlinemen and coach...

John Jenkins' injury was probably more serious than Payton would tip his hand and I like his size moving forward; Bunkley's injury, cap hit may necessitate finding a rotation mate at the nose tackle...

The only defensive linemen I found displayed any real physical trait was Tyrunn Walker who has the best bull rush out of our defensive ends...

And the biggest, unheralded loss on defense had to have been Glenn Foster...

Foster not only spelled Jordan, he also brought a different skill set to challenge opposing linemen in addition to his own playmaking...

We could move to a 4-3 to keep changing looks when Junior was ineffective...

I totally understand your frustation, it piSSed me off all year watching us get slaudered like cattle at a slauder house. Foster was much better than I give him credit for. Were missing a few pieces. Bunkley underwhelmed the most to me all year, not saying the rest didn't. If we get someone in there to collapse the pocket on a consistant level we will be much better in about all aspects, still need lb.'s though.

Looks like a great 1st round with plenty of options.

Is there anyone in this preliminary top 25 list that you wouldn't be happy with, other than Winston?

Not sold on Gregory, wary of "tweener" DE, LBers

Collins is a solid safety, for a low second, high third, but our problem is front seven on defense...

Shane Ray, Al Dupree, and Fowler are all Junior Galette with polish, maybe without the SweetPea accessory - no thanks...

Melvin Gordon, pass, no RB's with a one or two, maybe a three, but our offense doesn't need that type - Peterson is a freak, they're just not laying around like that...

If we draft a WR, y'all may here my head explode and inaudible yelpish noise that alludes to the name "Millen"...

Really like NT Malcolm Brown, but not with a first rounder that high...

Peat is an athletic freak, but is his heart in the game?!?

If available, I'm Liking LB Shaq Thompson, then OT Brandon Scherff, LB Benardrick McKinney, maybe moved down a few spots for CB P.J. Williams...

Re: 2015 draft??

I'd like to see Hicks at NT with Walker and Jordan at DE.

Keep Harralson, add an OLB and ILB - one drafted, one via FA.

Keep Robinson as camp competition, add a #2 CB in FA.

Surprised MLB Denzel Perryman from University of Miami isn't on that list. This kid will be a steal in the 2nd /3rd round.

Flying under the radar like Jamie Collins did for the Pats. Now he is becoming a beast.

He might go up at the combine. I hope we get him.

I just watched highlights on him and I am freaking impressed....even more than McKinney. I have no idea why he is projected as a 2nd rounder except maybe for his height (6 ft). I would LOVE to have this guy on our team! From what I can see,he would be worth a first rounder.
