In the long run I believe they would replace Jr and make us regret giving Jr that contract. Ok good chance Jr would be nothing but a speed rusher of the bench by the end season 1. But we will still be faced with same issue against the pass and the run. I am thinking more of a true two down OLB more than a pass rusher. Am i missing something? not trying to bash the picks of Beasley or Ray as much as understand it. 2nd. Danny Shelton NT Washington 3rd. Laken Tomlinson G Duke I could live with it. talk about getting value Free Agent pick ups Chris Harris CB Denver - Denver is already talking contracts. I can not see him getting out of Denver. this would be a dream come true. talk about one addition that would have the biggest impact in the off season this would be it. or Revis |

Re: 2015 draft??
Latest mock post Chicago win. Has us drafting #21 now
Round 1: Vic Beasley - OLB - Clemson -fell to our spot so I grabbed him, nuff' said Round 2: Jalen Collins - CB - LSU - all of you LSU fans know of Collins. Big CB who gets his hands on a good number of balls thrown his way. He is rising up draft boards. Round 3: Rashad Greene - WR - Florida State - all he does is make plays. WR corp of Greene, Stills and Cooks is young, fast and menacing! Add in a developing Toon (provided we keep him) and Coleman (provided he develops) and we have our trees and speed on the outsides Round 4: Jarvis Harrison - OG - Texas A&M - comes from a pass happy offense, and we've been known to love to pass the ball. Not saying Harrison can't run block, but if he can do that adequately, plus solid pass protection, I'd consider it an upgrade Round 5: Tyrus Thompson - OT - Oklahoma - Gives us a legit OT to put behind Strief, whenever Strief decides to shut it down, plus he's better than the HUGE reach that was Tavon Rooks and the turnstile that is Bryce Harris Round 6: A.J. Johnson - ILB - Tennessee - was removed from the team due to a off field incidence, so he's falling. But in terms of play, he's been great. Would be a huge boon for us considering our slow ILBs Round 7: Ray Drew - DE - Georgia - Mr. Irrelevant. Nothing special, does his job. Adds more youth on our Dline |

but with that, way to often peps here do a better job than the saints 95% of the time on day 2 and especially day 3 of the draft. we have people here that have a good eye for talent. i am always surprised by players often over looked in the middle rounds that people bang the drum for and they were right. besides it is fun to look back eat some crow and then stand up and say see i told you so. if you could lock this forum in a room on draft day and let us do the picking we would not have half the holes we have today. :p |
